According to research, the Dead Sea is the most saline in the world with a mineral concentration of around 32%. Dead Sea mud has a high content of salts and minerals which are believed to be essential for the body, and it is often used in aromatherapy in body and facial procedures. Dead Sea Mud can cleanse and remove impurities from the skin, firm and tone the complexion, making it look refreshed.

In its natural form, the mud is very concentrated, therefore, for cosmetic purposes natural oils and plant extracts are added to it.
